The historic center of
Stockholm
at 3 p.m. was filled with
about 15 thousand of runners, most of whom were young people. The
weather was very uncertain but it was not cold. The start was divided
into 5 sectors according to the time stated by the runners during the
registration procedure. The route crossed the historic center of the
city and one could admire all the sites of artistic interest. It was
necessary to do two laps so a lot of people stopped in the middle of the
race to have a look. The route was flat, there was no wind, there were
many places where the runners were offered water. You could see the
bands playing, scattered along the way. Families with children were
applauding and cheering, encouraging the runners throughout the route of
the race. The finish and the start were situated close to the Royal Palace
where there was also a bags’ storage. The bib number could have been
picked up the day before. The price did not include the T-shirt, which
cost a lot, but all in all the
race was organized in a perfect way.
